O Havanna Luxury Hotel

This new 20 story luxury hotel was developed for O’ Havana, L.L.C., a new progressive developer with industrious ambitions to build Cuban themed resorts, hotels, and casinos worldwide. This project was designed to fit on an entire city block within a small footprint of 45,000 sq. ft. in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia.

The site was strategically selected for close proximity to the Sugarhouse Casino, to offer high-end hotel guestrooms for casino guests, in a hotel influenced by the art and culture of Cuba. The architecture of the hotel is sleek and polished radiating an air of luxury and sophistication that creates a lush escape from reality.

Large expanses of planted green walls are designed into the building façade to create a dynamic liveliness, softness and balance. One distinctive aspect to the building design is the experience arriving guests have as they drive through an environmentally controlled Porte Cochere entrance atrium, where they are greeted by welcoming O’ Havana personnel in a lush and tropical setting, who will guide them past fountains and palm trees to the check-in desk.
